On June 22, 2018, Julia Enright excitedly messaged her boyfriend, asking, “Do you think we could add bubbles to a blood bath?” This quirky message hinted at her anticipation for a date with a former classmate set for the following day.

The next day, June 23, at 10:20 a.m., Julia texted Jonathan Lind again, stating, “I have to attempt some things and then I should hopefully have the surprise.” A phlebotomist and devoted Marilyn Manson fan, Julia harbored an obsession with dark themes, including grave robbing, blood, and the dominatrix lifestyle. Her journals revealed her fascination with themes of death, sexual cutting, and art made from animal bones. One entry chillingly noted her “insatiable curiosity to kill a person.”

Julia had previously dated Brandon Chicklis, 20, while they were both students at Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School. Now, in their early twentie
